Access Guide to Blackpool
Access Disability have now completed the Official Access Guide to Blackpool. The guide is being distributed via Blackpool Council Tourism Department, and Access Disability Ltd if you require a copy of the guide please email info@accessdisability.co.uk or call 01253 753300.
In 2004 Blackpool Tourism had in excess of 25,000 requests for a guide to Blackpool from various disabled people and organisations across the UK and is expecting similar requests for this year. The guide will also be distributed to the majority of hotels and guest houses in Blackpool.
The purpose of the guide is to provide all the information that may possible be needed to ensure that any person with any specific needs, can plan there stay and avoid any obstacle that may hinder there stay and ultimately make there time in Blackpool more enjoyable.
The guide covers a variety of categories including Accommodation, Banking, Shopping, Leisure, Restaurants/Takeaways, Health/Beauty, Transport and various public services such as disabled parking and toilets.
